Remove the fan.

(1) Disconnect the fan control connector from the power/RF board. (2) Remove the four screws and nuts securing the fan to the bottom of the PSU/RF board.

Install the fan on the new PSU/RF board.

(1) Place the fan on the bottom of the power/RF board and install the four nuts and screws securing it to the board.

(2) Connect the fan control connector to J4 on the Power/RF board.

Replacing the fan

1.Remove the power supply/RF card and attached heat sinks (observe all warnings and cautions). For more information, see “Replacing the Power Supply/RF Card” later in this section.

2. Disconnect the fan connector from the power supply/RF card.

3. Turn the power supply/RF card over and remove the four screws and nuts securing the fan to the card.

4.Place the new fan on the PSU/RF board and install the four nuts and screws securing it to the board.

5.Connect the fan connector to J4 on the power/RF board.

6. Reinstall the power/RF board and attached heat sinks.
